DEMO 2000 initiates Offshore Arctic Data Collaboration pre-project

The DEMO 2000 Steering Group has approved a pre-project to define how design and environmental data for safe and efficient exploration and development in the Arctic can be made easily available to end users.

An interim steering committee for the pre-project was founded last Wednesday 28 Sep 05 consisting of 8 oil companies. ACONA Tromsø, NORUT IT, Systems In Motion and First Interactive will carry out the pre-project. See project presentation.
