OG21 Strategy document
OG21 was formally established on the initiative of the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy (OED) in 2001 to bring the oil and gas industry together under a common, permanent national technology strategy. During the preparatory work in 2000/2001, OG21 received strong support from and the recommendation of a united petroleum cluster. OG21 is expected to result in a new overall technology strategy and a system that will lead to more concerted, focused efforts in technology research and development, thereby engendering better, more expedient results on the part of the efforts invested by the industry as a whole.
